Peppy lives in a village called Angry River. The river always creates floods, which bothers the villagers. As a class project, Peppy decides to plant trees along the riverbank. As the trees grow, their roots stop the flooding, saving the village and leading the grateful community to rename their home the Happy River! The story celebrates the power of individual action, the strength of friendship, and the lasting change that comes from volunteering and caring for nature.
